The Providence Festival of Trees is your opportunity to stroll through nearly 50 decorated trees, as well as wreaths and holiday vignettes created by the city’s top designers, businesses, and volunteers. Held the last weekend of November, the festival lights up the season in style and raises funds to support critically needed health-care services at Providence Hospital. The public show features children’s activities, including the adorable Teddy Bear Hospital and Santa’s Workshop, live entertainment, model trains, gingerbread houses, and a holiday bookshop. Tickets can be purchased at the door, and there are often coupons on the festival website that will save you money at the gate.
